The original Willow Tea Rooms Building was first opened by Miss Cranston and designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903. It was re-opened to the public in its full original glory as Mackintosh at the Willow, on 7th September 2018 after an extensive restoration.

You can now dine in the historic tea rooms, visit the new interactive visitor centre and browse our gift shop.  If you want to find out more about the Tea Rooms experience visit the Mackintosh at the Willow website. Mackintosh at the Willow operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise, a subsidiary of the registered charity The Willow Tea Rooms Trust and in partnership with the Princes Trust.
