WAYS TO ENGAGE AT MACKINTOSH AT THE WILLOW

• guided 1 hour tour of the historic building (can be tailored to subject area.) Groups larger than around 15 will be split into two tour groups. We recommend this be combined with a visit to the interactive exhibition which covers the history of turn-of-the-century Glasgow, the tearoom culture and the building’s restoration (around 30 minutes.)

• talk by local professional architect about Glasgow architecture and the inventiveness of Mackintosh.

• fun practical, easy art workshops (inhouse stencilling 30 minutes or an artist can be brought in given enough notice for other topics.) An excellent add-on activity!

• vocational placements, including Erasmus.
