Through the work of The Willow Tea Rooms Trust and its social enterprise subsidiary, Mackintosh at the Willow, Mackintosh’s tea rooms in the heart of Glasgow, have been preserved and recreated.

As a registered charity, The Willow Tea Rooms Trust needs your support to preserve this iconic Mackintosh Heritage Building for future generations and continue to share the amazing legacy of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the pioneering female entrepreneur Miss Catherine Cranston. We also hope to continue providing training and other opportunities to young vulnerable adults employed by Mackintosh at the Willow as well as providing heritage education programmes to the community, schools and our staff.

There are a number of ways you can support us, through donations and also by visiting the venue when it’s safe to be re-opened to the public. Please read on to find out more.

Now, more than ever, culture and heritage is playing its part in supporting us all through this difficult time, and we ask you to consider helping us if you are able to. Please don’t forget to agree to add Gift Aid to your donation if you are a UK taxpayer, which allows us to add to the value of your donation at no additional cost to you.

By making a regular donation, you can help the Trust to continue to provide inspiration and opportunities now and for future generations.

As a registered charity, every penny of your donation goes directly towards sharing the remarkable Willow Tea Rooms Building at 217 Sauchiehall Street,  preserving the historical and social legacy of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Catherine Cranston for Glasgow, for Scotland, for the world.
