Peter Lawson

Peter is a lawyer and a partner in Miller Samuel Hill Brown based in Glasgow, specialising in Licensing. Peter has been involved in a number of arts organisations and trusts, both as legal adviser and a board member over the past thirty years. He is a past Chairman of the Tron Theatre Company, former Chairman of GUCOM (Glasgow Unesco City of Music) and a former BAFTA Scotland Committee Member.

At present, Peter is a director and the Chairman of Scottish Opera, and a director of the Theatre Royal, Glasgow. Peter’s interests include film and television and he is a director of Raindog TV Limited. He is a supporter of, and adviser to, a number of arts focused charities.
