Specialist Advisor to the board Duncan Dornan, was recently appointed Head of Museums and Collections at Glasgow Life. After graduating from Edinburgh University he worked in education for 16 years and was a Head of Department with Aberdeen College.

He joined the National Museums Scotland as Museum Manager, working on the delivery of the National Museum of Rural Life, a joint partnership between the National Museums Scotland and Naitonal Trust Scotland, and moved to Glasgow Museums (now part of Glasgow Life) in 2013 as Senior Manager.
