Colin has vast experience in running major campaigns including at Oxford University, Strathclyde University, National Museums Scotland and Scottish Opera, among others. Colin has provided strategic fundraising advice, guidance and mentoring to clients across Scotland, the UK and Europe, including many Universities (Oxford, Bristol, Exeter, Warwick etc). Cultural institutions/campaigns have included Scottish Opera, National Trust for Scotland, Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

He has advised large charities such as the British Red Cross and internationally has helped institutions such as the Club de Madrid, MGIMO University (Moscow), European Molecular Biology Laboratory (Heidelberg) and Dublin City University.
